Securus Technologies Shows why GTL is not a Company to be Trusted

Securus Technologies is a leading company in the public correction facilities. It has come out to set a record for its success in prison communication. Just like every day living, any success with an endeavor makes other jealous. I find that Global Tel Link has been jealous of the success achieved by Securus. GTL has come out and made false claims against Securus Technologies. Securus Technologies has fortunately come out clearly and set things straight. The firm was able to correct all the inaccurate statements made by GTL. I noted from the press release that Securus releases nothing but facts. In one instance, Securus Technologies that GTL had mischaracterized the purpose of the ruling made by the PTAB. It showed that GTL made allegations that were not based on facts.

Richard Smith is the company Chief Executive Officer of Securus Technologies. He has come out and spoken publicly to refute claims made by GTL. Speaking in a recent press release, he stated that his company had done a lot as far as technology is concerned. He added that the firm had invested a lot regarding patents throughout its years of operations. GTL is a new company that has been in operation for close to a decade. GTL doesn’t have enough patents and license. However, the company has been trying to stay ahead of the competition by putting other companies down.

Real Motivation

Marc Sparks has a reputation of greatness here in Texas. However, his exploits extend well beyond the Texas borders and into the general realm of great entrepreneurs in the world. He has started practically hundreds of businesses with most being very successful. This is why people like myself have grown to see Marc Sparks as sort of an entrepreneurial guru. I consider myself a natural hustler.

Hustling has a general negative connotation in many realms, but in business, it is considered someone who goes above and beyond to get things done.

I received wholesale garden seeds from a mail-order company, and I then used those seeds to make a sizeable profit. I also thought I was very special because of this until I started to research real entrepreneurs and the things that they have accomplished in life.

For me personally, I only saw the glitz and glamor surrounding the things that they had achieved. So when I tried to replicate the success, it was based on the most trivial of pursuits. I thought that material things would be the measure of my success.

The problem with this approach is that it is very empty. By this I mean that once these things are achieved, what is the motivation? What I also found is that these things were easily achieved even before real prosperity had been achieved.

Therefore I have to question if the people I had so idolized were even rich, or were they only in possession of the trappings.

So I really had to challenge myself as to what real success was, and it is in that pursuit that I began to research entrepreneurs like Marc Sparks.

I found the Marc was not motivated by money, he was more motivated by how money could help people. His motivation was different than mine, his motivation was philanthropy. My motivation was self-enrichment. My motivation seemed empty as compared to Marc’s motivation, and I was already feeling the burn out that conspicuous consumption always leads to.

The world in which I inhabited could not care less about their fellow man, but I was not raised that way. I was only doing the things that I thought were necessary in being successful. Marc Sparks understood that to whom much is given much is expected, and I did not. So now that I follow Marc’s example, my business is more like a college or laboratory for budding entrepreneurs to get information to forward their ideas.

George Soros helping the migrant community

George Soros has become known as one of the most influential Democratic donors currently. He recently announced that he is funneling $500 million into migrant and refugee founded businesses and other ventures.

George Soros acknowledges that governments should play a role by creating adequate infrastructure, both physical and social. However he also acknowledged the power of the private sector, was a need as well. Soros announced his latest venture in a Wall Street op-ed where he said “Migrants are often forced into lives of idle despair, while host countries fail to reap the proven benefit that greater integration could bring.”

George Soros made this decision in response to the Obama administration’s call to action for American companies to play a bigger role in the refugee crisis. George Soros has earmarked $500 million for investments that target the needs of migrants, refugees and host communities.

His main focus though, will be helping migrants and refugees that are arriving in Europe. George Soros said his non-profit owned investments will complement his foundations contributions and will cover various sectors including digital technology. He believes advances in this sector can help migrants and refugees gain access more efficiently to government, legal, financial and health services.

Private companies have already started investing billions of dollars to develop these same services for non-refugee and non-migrant communities. Along with his foundation’s work, Soros says he will work with several organizations including the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the International Rescue Committee to create a game plan that will guide his investments. George Soros wants to harness the innovations that only the private sector can create and use them to help the migrant and refugee communities across the country.
